AMPLIFY Security Fundamentals (ASF)

The AMPLIFY Security Fundamentals (ASF) course is designed to help sales people acquire basic knowledge about security.  It is meant to provide you a vocabulary and an understanding of how security works.  

Register to the 90 minutes virtual bootcamp, delivered by Arrow’s Sales Engineers to gain a strong foundation to broaden your security sales expertise and complete your sales certification.

Failure to  complete certifications by 31st July, 2022 will impact your NextWave Partner Program status.

The virtual bootcamp will:

  • help you  become familiar with the course
  • guide you to key focus areas/concepts
  • help you prepare to tackle the online course/assessment     

What you need to sit for the assessment:

  • To sit the ASF assessment, you require a NextWave partner portal login to access Palo Alto Networks digital learning portal - Beacon.
  • If you need to set one up, please contact nextwave@paloaltonetworks.com at least 24 hours in advance of the assessment.
  • You will also need a laptop and high-speed internet access.

Meet the presenter

 

Mark Rooney

Sales Engineer

Mark is a Sales and Systems Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in the IT industry.

His knowledge includes Unified Communications, telecommunications, WAN, VoIP, Managed Services, Networks and Security. His background includes End user and Business Partner sales and technical vendor training and technical assistance for multiple vendors.

He has direct experience with both end users and business partners in solution designs, implementation of systems, demonstrations and proof of concepts across a variety of products, assisting them from concept to purchase.

He is currently a Sales Engineer for Palo Alto Networks.
